Paige and Ryan were a dream couple to photograph; they’re beautiful, sweet and have great taste. I am so excited to be apart of their Outstanding Occassion and El Chorro upcoming Spring wedding. I know its going to be out of this world!
When we were coming up with their engagement session locations Paige wanted to do a mix of desert and a little green. Thats exactly what we did. We shot at a favorite, McDowell Mountain Preserve and Gainy ranch Country Club. I thought it was the perfect balance of both and the look she was going for.
I shot medium format film for Paige & Ryan, with my favorite combo of a Contax 645 and Fuji 400h film. You really can never go wrong with that combo. I love the way film soften outs the harsh desert sun and made the photographs soft and luminous all while bringing the desert colors to life. Film is truly magic!
